We regret to inform our customers that the slushie machine we’ve been proudly supplying is no longer available through Sleek Slushies. We are of course still fullfilling the previous orders made via our website.
Our supplier has recently entered into an exclusive retail arrangement, which means we are no longer permitted to offer this particular model for sale.
We completely understand that large retail accounts can be attractive commercially, but decisions like this have a real impact on small businesses that continue to bring a product to market. These are exactly the types of situations that highlight why the ACCC exists, to ensure fair and competitive access, and to prevent small operators from being sidelined by exclusive supply deals and large corporations.
As a small family Australian business, we’re disappointed by this outcome, especially after investing in promoting and continually bringing this product to market for our customers.
We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us so far, and we encourage you to continue supporting Australian small businesses like ours. We will be launching soon glass ranges, and airfryers.
We’re still proudly offering two other models from the same manufacturer, both high-quality, self-cleaning machines that deliver the same great frozen drinks our customers love.
